Sophie Tompkins

Sophie Tompkins

  • Meet the founder and lead designer behind Mod Bird Creative, a design studio that crafts one-of-a-kind visual identities for the food, beverage, and hospitality industry. Sophie is a designer with a playful, nostalgic bent, finding inspiration in vintage jazz, dinner parties, and facebook marketplace gems from yesteryear. She works closely with all Mod Bird clients to figure out the vision for their brand (even if they’re worried they don’t have one) and bring it to life.

When she’s not designing, you’ll find her scouring Zillow (for what, she’s not sure), devouring episodes of Armchair Expert, or trying out new restaurants in Savannah. She occasionally keeps up with the Kardashians, but you didn’t hear that from her.

Sophie holds a B.F.A. in graphic design from Savannah College of Art & Design, and she’s run Mod Bird since 2019.
